Under the project thematic “Cyanotoxins in Irrigation Waters: Surveillance, Risk Assessment, and Innovative Remediation proposals” a workshop was organized and held in CIIMAR headquarters on the 22^nd February 2019. The workshop counted with the presence of several experts from the TOXCROP project which presented their research work. The topics covered were: Toxic algae and cyanotoxins – occurrence, monitoring, methods of detection and risk assessment; Cyanotoxins – methods of detection, toxicology and food safety; and Water bioremediation technologies.
